Caleb the Curious Bear Cub

What happens when a curious little bear cub just can’t stay asleep?
Caleb is supposed to be hibernating like the rest of his family, but he’s just far too curious for that. When he sneaks out into the snowy winter wilderness, he meets all kinds of animals but they’re not exactly friendly…
The owl is grumpy, the bunny is busy, the turtle is terrified–and don’t even ask about the snake!
In the end, Caleb learns that maybe this cold winter isn’t the best place for a young bear cub, and maybe, just maybe, his mother was right!
Perfect for children ages 3-8, this gentle tale celebrates curiosity, animals, and the value of motherly love.

Curiosity is a great quality, but also listen to your Momma! Good, interesting story with a positive message. Lovely illustrations!

Like the author's last book, "Timmy and His Dragon", this one is quite interesting. The book really brings out the element of curiosity in children. The ending is quite humorous and at the same time shows how the cub learned to listen to momma bear.

A good way to teach about Hibernation. Story about a young Bear that's tired of sleeping and wants to find someone to play with.
I enjoyed it!
